Grief
Counseling
There are many different reasons for grief, as well as different stages of grief. Jamie has personally gone through grief in her life and realized that as a Christian she was actually talked out of the grieving process by Christians, who expected her to overcome her situation and move forward as a Christian. No one could understand the pain she was going through internally as a young widow and there was just not the right words that could be said to give her hope. Being in a Christian society no one took the time to understand the stages of grief which made it hard to go through the stages in a proper way. It's okay to mourn for losses, and it's important to understand the stages of grief whether it's you or someone you know that is struggling with grief. There are many different kind of loss; losing a loved one in death, or just cut off from your life, going through a divorce, seeing your loved one go through a mental illness, or even losing a career. Loss brings grief, but it's important to know it's okay to mourn or grieve over your losses, but knowing you CAN and WILL get passed the grief and overcome your situation. It's okay to take your time and reach out for help through family, friends, and even professional help.
